Forest walk, Sofiero

How do you experience the forest in a completely new and unique way? That was the question Sofiero Castle Park in Helsingborg wanted answered – and together with GoAdventure, the solution became a very special forest walk, where the view begins high above the ground.

Developed, designed, and built by GoAdventure

In the heart of the castle park, we built a treetop walking experience that takes guests from tree to tree across 11 suspension bridges at varying heights – from ground level up to eight meters above the forest floor. The bridges weave like a labyrinth between trunks and branches, creating the feeling of exploring the treetops while being surrounded by the park’s natural beauty.

The walkways are constructed from wood with netted sides, allowing visitors to move safely – without the need for personal safety equipment. The entire installation can handle up to 120 people at once, making it ideal for individual visitors, school groups, and larger gatherings.

The project was developed and built in close collaboration with the University of Copenhagen to ensure maximum protection of the trees. The construction was carefully adapted to the surroundings, preserving the park’s natural character while giving guests a new and different way to experience the forest.
