GDPR

Welcome to GoAdventure’s GDPR page.

Here you can read about our privacy policy. This page describes how we handle and protect personal information. It also ensures that our employees are familiar with the guidelines for processing the personal data they have access to as part of their work.

Handling of sensitive information within the company

All processing of personal data in our organization is carried out in accordance with the principles of lawful, fair, and transparent processing. Personal data is collected solely for clearly defined and legitimate purposes, and we strictly adhere to the principles of data minimization. We strive to ensure that all information is accurate and up to date, and we prioritize the principles of limited storage, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.

If you have any questions regarding our processing of personal data and this privacy policy, you are always welcome to contact the company’s Data Protection Officer at info@goadventure.dk.

Purpose of processed data

The collection and processing of personal data are relevant in connection with our business relationships with customers and partners. In rare cases where it becomes necessary to process personal data for purposes not compatible with those listed below, the data subject (DS) will be informed accordingly. The same applies if we collect or process personal data from the DS that has not been provided directly by them.

Company business areas

Our business includes consulting, delivery, installation, sales, and service of climbing parks, climbing halls, natural playgrounds, ziplines, treetop walks, and activity areas – both indoors and outdoors.

Automatically collected personal data

We use various digital solutions designed to ensure both user-friendliness and security. These technologies enable the automatic collection of data to optimize the user experience as much as possible. In accordance with our privacy policy, data is collected either directly by us or by a third party acting on our behalf.

Analysis of clickstream data and the use of cookies are examples of such technologies – for instance, in our website’s contact function and when handling your inquiries.

Every visit to a digital platform involves data being sent from the browser you use to a server. By analyzing this data, we optimize our digital solutions. The data is collected via a third party acting on our behalf.

We collect data about your browser to manage our systems and conduct internal, marketing-related analyses based on user behavior. Examples of the data collected and analyzed include the date and time of visits, pages viewed, the geographical location of the IP address, information about the browser and computer used (type, version, operating system, etc.), as well as the URL of the referring page that led you to our website.

We are responsible for the collected data, and it will not be shared without written or electronic consent, unless required by law.

During visits – both physical and online – we also collect information actively provided by the data subject. This typically includes name, address, phone number, email address, etc.

Information shared with us via social media, email, orders, surveys, events, competitions, and similar activities is processed in accordance with applicable legislation. Information we receive through newsletter subscriptions is stored in a third-party mailing system and used to send newsletters. You can unsubscribe at any time or contact us at info@goadventure.dk.

Legal basis for processing personal data

Our privacy policy and the processing of personal data are essential for fulfilling contractual obligations between us and our customers. Certain information, including sensitive data, is processed whenever possible based on written or electronic consent.

Registration and sharing of personal data

We only share personal data with third parties in accordance with the guidelines described in this privacy policy.

We may disclose your information if required to comply with a legal obligation, a court order, or instructions from an authority, or to protect trademarks, rights, or property.

This may include sharing information with other companies and organizations for the purpose of fraud prevention. We use service providers and data processors to perform tasks on our behalf, including server hosting, system maintenance, analytics, payment solutions, address and credit checks, email services, and more.

Our partners only have access to data to the extent necessary to provide their services, and they are contractually obligated to handle all data confidentially and use it solely in accordance with our contractual agreements. We carry out regular audits to ensure that our partners comply with their data processing obligations.

When we share your information with service providers or data processors outside the EU, we ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements governing such transfers. We never collect personal data without prior consent through registration, purchases, participation in surveys or competitions, newsletter subscriptions, or similar activities.

Storage of personal data

We store information about our customers and business partners for as long as necessary and relevant to provide the best possible service.

As a general rule, all personal data will be deleted five years after the end of the customer relationship, defined as the last active interaction between GoAdventure and the customer. For example, if a customer has a repair subscription with us, the last active interaction might be a repair, inspection, or similar service. However, personal data may be retained for longer than five years if there is a legitimate reason for doing so, such as the need to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Right to object, rectification, and deletion of personal data

The data subject (DS) has the right to request access to the personal data we process. This includes information about what is being processed, the purpose of the processing, the categories of personal data involved (whether general or sensitive), and the period during which the data is processed and stored. In addition, the data subject also has the right to request correction or deletion of their data, as well as the right to file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

The DS has the right to have inaccurate information about themselves corrected without undue delay. The initiative for such correction must come from the DS. Furthermore, the DS may request deletion of their personal data (also known as the “right to be forgotten”), but only after the expiry of our statutory retention obligations under the Danish Bookkeeping Act. If the DS believes that their personal data is being processed in violation of the law or other legal obligations, they may also contact us directly.

The DS can always contact us with a request to have their personal data corrected or deleted. In such cases, we will assess whether the conditions for correction or deletion are met and make the necessary changes. To access information registered via cookies, the DS may contact us at info@goadventure.dk.

If incorrect data has been registered, or if the DS has other objections, they can contact us at info@goadventure.dk. The DS always has the right to know what information has been registered about them and may object to the registration at any time.

Right to data portability

The data subject (DS) has the right to receive the personal data we have registered about them – both the data they have provided to us and the data we have obtained about them from other parties based on their consent. The DS also has the right to transfer this personal data to another service provider.

If the DS wishes to exercise their right to data portability, they will receive their personal data from us in a commonly used format.

Declaration of consent

Where consent is required as the legal basis for processing, it is essential for us to be able to document that such consent has been obtained. Therefore, we always require consent to be given either in writing or electronically. Consent must be a voluntary, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s wishes regarding the processing of personal data. The data subject (DS) may withdraw their consent at any time. If the DS’s consent is the sole basis for our processing of their personal data, any future processing will cease upon withdrawal. However, this does not affect our statutory retention obligations.

Consent can be withdrawn by contacting us at info@goadventure.dk.

Collection of cookies

Cookies are small files stored on the user’s computer or device when visiting our website. Their purpose is to record previously visited pages, allowing users to conveniently resume earlier sessions. They are also used to preserve language settings or other personal preferences related to website visits. In addition, cookies are important to us for performing traffic measurements, analyzing traffic patterns, and improving the overall visitor experience.

Our cookies do not contain any personal information. When we implement cookies, we inform users about their use and the purpose of collecting data through them. At the same time, we request the user’s consent for this practice.

However, cookies that maintain and ensure the website’s functionality and settings may be used without the visitor’s consent.

You always have the option to set your preferences regarding whether cookies should be collected during your visit and which cookies you consent to. As a general rule, accepting functional cookies is necessary. If you wish to change your cookie consent, this must be done through the browser used during your visit to our website.

Data security

Our internal security policies include guidelines and measures that ensure the protection of personal data for all data subjects. This includes preventing the destruction, loss, or unauthorized alteration of data, as well as protecting against unauthorized disclosure, access, or exposure of such information.

Right to complain

Any individual whose personal data is registered with GoAdventure has the right to file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) if they believe that our processing of their data is not legitimate or does not comply with applicable legislation.
