In the heart of Aarhus lies Tivoli Friheden – a classic amusement park that wanted to add a new and different attraction. Together with GoAdventure, the vision became reality: a climbing park that integrates naturally into the park’s surroundings while creating an entirely new experience for visitors.
Developed, designed, and built by GoAdventure
The project combines the best of both worlds. The easier courses are gathered in an adventure area, while the more challenging routes lead guests across Tivoli Friheden’s lakes and into the central tower, which connects the entire installation. The tower is specially designed with a focus on both functionality and aesthetics, blending seamlessly with the park’s atmosphere.
Building a large climbing park in the middle of an existing amusement park requires innovation, precise planning, and close collaboration. From the first ideas to the final bolts, GoAdventure approached the task with a focus on safety, design, and creativity – with the goal of creating an attraction that both surprises and delights.
