Free Fall, giant swing and education
Himmerlands Erhvervs- & Gymnasieuddannelser (HEG) is a vocational institution that trains young people in trade, technology, health and craftsmanship. And here, skills are not the only thing to reach new heights – the students’ personal development also gets a gentle push – for example, by letting them jump from a height of 15 metres.
HEG wanted to expand their existing climbing tower and thus train their staff for the new adventure building.
We therefore installed a giant swing, where a jump from a height of 15 meters would send students or teachers on a ground-breaking swing ride.
We then trained their staff in safety procedures, special precautions associated with jumps, control of climbing equipment and safety ropes.
Free Fall is an adventure activity that will give even the bravest people an adrenaline rush. Experience the leap from the treetop, the rush of the free fall and then the secure feeling of being grabbed and lowered safely to the ground.
A great activity that can be used as a confidence test, for team building or as an add-on in a climbing/adventure park.
