Netting installation for Tumlehuset
How do you allow for personal expression in a small space? The answer is: build tall. Tumlehuset desperately wanted to expand in its existing space, and so we simply utilised that space in a new way. GoAdventure helped with planning, concept phase, production and final assembly. Note that it has a floating netting passage above the existing activities, which is completely unique.
Tumlehuset wanted to make full use of the space without overcrowding, and there we found the solution – to use the building’s posts and design to create a unique activity that would not interfere with the building’s other activities. The transparency of the netting also ensures that the space doesn’t feel smaller and claustrophobic, but instead feels open and inclusive.
The netting passage has an entrance and exit on both sides, and allows you to cross over to the other side. The purpose of the installation was to give the children an extra activity, which had to take place at height in a safe and fun way.
More and more people are realising what a netting installation can provide and how it can be implemented. Netting can be used in countless ways and for many different purposes, so it’s no wonder that netting installations are becoming more and more popular.
