Feddet Camping

Welcome to a floating world of activity!

Feddet Camping already had an obstacle course, a street football pitch and cable cars on the ground, but when there were many visitors on the site, space was cramped. Feddet Camping was desperate to expand further but on the same site. GoAdventure helped create a floating level in the trees above the existing activities. The result is amazing, to say the least.

With the help of netting walkways, floating tree houses, platforms, climbing roses and giant trampolines, there are now even more active initiatives in the heart of Feddet Camping.

The new installation is perhaps the first of its kind in the world as we have combined treetop walking with bouncing and slides, thus creating a truly unique activity area. Thanks to the new installation, Feddet can entertain far more visitors, and you can choose for yourself whether you want to let loose and jump around, or enjoy a relaxing and aesthetically beautiful walk on the treetop walking path.

The campsite has both overnight and day visitors. The complete netting installation at Feddet Camping appears as a dynamic installation that weaves through the pine forest on multiple levels. It provides the green forest with some beautiful contrasting colours, all of which have been carefully chosen to create new visual life in the area.

Thanks to the area’s many possibilities, trees and design, a unique world of movement was created at Feddet Camping. This process is typical of GoAdventures’ way of creating installations in nature. We start with the dream, then we look at what is possible in the area, and based on these parameters, we create the completely unique installation that can’t be created anywhere else. This is our commitment to our clients – each new project will be different from the last.

Stavanger – Norway

Stavanger in Norway

AIR by Bolder wanted to attract a broad target group to the world of climbing, and be a meeting place and go-to company for adventurous visitors all year round. That’s why they needed an indoor wonderland. AIR by Bolder had towering ambitions and has now succeeded in their project.

In collaboration with Unisport, GoAdventure has completed a vast climbing and activity hall in Stavanger, which is Norway’s fourth largest city. Here, AIR by Bolder can now offer all their indoor experiences as part of the Tvedtsenteret.

The task was to integrate a giant climbing wall with a netting landscape, high rope courses and a fairly challenging via ferrata. All in an aesthetic look that had to motivate visitors to explore the whole thing.

We approached the task with a requirement for ourselves to think about all the dimensions of the hall. All horizontal surfaces and vertical levels had to be utilised to the max.

We solved the task by erecting a 20-metre tall climbing wall and installing cable cars and climbing elements that meander under the ceiling of the 21-metre tall building. As a link and for optimal utilisation of the large empty space, we installed trampoline boxes and netting corridors, which thanks to their soft material would break up the hard wooden surfaces.

The project required very precise calculations and scaling to utilise the entire space. In several places, the climbing lanes move in through the climbing wall, allowing visitors to see the climbing wall from the inside.

AIR by Bolder has been uncompromising in their choices and has gone all out on adventure building. We are grateful to have been chosen as a collaboration partner for the job, and we are enormously proud of the result.
